The horizon may hold tempest clouds
Tears may fall like the driving rain.
But hope’s luminescence guides us
Because of the One who came.
Anxieties may consume you
As you fight the battlefield of your mind.
Fears keep you bound in the struggle
but the Keyholder is good and kind.
You are lonely most of your days
Even in crowded rooms with no place to stand.
Darkness seems to envelop
But He is with you and holds your hand.
He is there in your forever skies
In the midst of fears that consume.
A friend when you feel friendless
It is for you He rose from the tomb.
So turn to Him for He is waiting
One touch and you’ll be undone.
Bring to Him each one of your soul cries
You shall be rescued as your hearts beat as one.
